Here's what happened....in deleting my old google account (where I was hacked) I pretty much deleted every single photo connected to that account and there's no way to recover it :( I am literally starting over my friends. Only three blog posts is all I have left to account for 8 years of blogging.
To say I'm beyond sad is an understatement, but I am placing my faith in God and knowing that all things happen for a reason. Perhaps He has a plan for me and beginning with a clean slate is part of the plan. Wherever the journey takes my I hope you'll hang in there with me as I start over.
For now, I'll leave with a pretty picture and wishes for a wonderful week!

P.S. Please, keep me in your prayers this week. I am having surgery on Thursday and will be in recovery for at least 6 weeks.

So sorry to hear about your pics Abby but I'm sure you're right about starting anew. I'll also be thinking of you undergoing surgery and hope all goes well for that and for your recovery afterwards. Take care of yourself, that's all that matters right now. Margie x
Oh Abby, I'm so sorry about your blog. I have an idea for your pictures, do you have a picasa account (it's free photo editing software connected with google)? If not, you could sign up for one and then go here: https://picasaweb.google.com/home there's a chance your photos could be there. My blog photos are there and I've never uploaded them. Mine are in a folder with my blog name. It's worth a shot for you.
These photos are beautiful, it's obvious your heart overflows into your work. I'll be praying for your surgery. ~ Abby
Oh NO!! I'm so sorry to hear this Abby. That is a big fear of mine - being hacked and losing all my posts and photos. I think I'd just quit blogging if it did happen. You are strong to start over fresh and keeping a great and positive attitude will help. I have been thinking about Instagram but haven't done it yet. Where will I find the time for it and blogging??!! All the best to you with your blog.

Oh Abby, I'm really sorry this happened to the sweetest of persons. Maybe there's a way the Google people can recover your files? (truly, files aren't always 'really' deleted - there's usually some way to recover)
In any case, you are wise to see that God always has a plan. Perhaps a fresh start is in order and I will definitely pray for you to have a successful surgery and speedy recovery. xoxo

I saw you mention this on Instagram and am so sorry this happened to you. Do you know who or why someone hacked your google? That's really scary! I used to back my blog up but I haven't done it in ages...probably should get on that right now. I'd be devastated if this happened so I can understand how upset you must have been:(
