Hey there friends welcome to my studio! As some of you know, I only just began my quest to transform my creative space into my creative haven. So when I heard of Karen Valentine’s blog party “Where Bloggers Create” I thought what better way or time to share a few glimpses of my space than in the company of hundreds of other kindred spirits joining in on this wonderful adventure…..
Now, my space is still a work in progress as I slowly surround myself with bits and pieces of the little things that stir my creative soul……inspire my mind…..and make me smile inside and out…..but I’m getting there, slowly but surely getting there. So please come on in….make yourself at home as I take you on little tour of my sanctuary…..
First I'll share a few panoramic views of the room.....the first is of the larger area when you first walk in.....
below is my work area.....
....and across the way a wall filled with dashes of a few more things that make me smile.....
....now how 'bout a closer look around....
....when you first enter you're greeted by two chalk boards on one wall….one for me, one for Sophia…..a special place to share a thought….a quote…a wish….or a prayer.....
.......while across the way you’ll find a place to hang a bit of this and that…..
….a few steps further you’ll discover my “knick-knack corner”….a mini dresser to keep a few hidden supplies.....
....topped off with a vingnette of my current favs.....a vintage mirror given to me by a special blogging friend….a vintage book adorned with one of my creations….a shabby chandelier….a few scented candles.....and a dried yellow rose from Sophia….
….next a fern (one of my favorite plants) along with a few vintage books are sprinkled along the steps of a shabby'd up step ladder sits lovely in front of a window.....

....along side of the step ladder….my dress form Emma adorned with a few vintage baubles stands beside a collage of art…..and behind her you’ll find baskets and containers, both vintage and new housing everything from trinkets and beads to fabrics and lace…..and of course tons of craft paper and stamps…..

….next stop….the cutting/photography station…..an old and tattered dresser sits just perfect in front of windows….allowing for a lovely showering of sunshine throughout the entire room….ideal for cutting paper to size…..taking photos….and using my die cut machine. BTW, I’m thinking of painting the dresser cottage white….what do you think…yes or no?

I'm guessing that is what is under there. Great look, wish I had more wall space! Have fun blog hopping, come visit sometime! XOXO

Abby, such a pretty room. The things I like..the little rack at the door, that is so cute and something I want to replicate for holding my ribbons (I have antique glass knobs to put on it). The first chest, very sweet. The dresser, it reminds me of one my DD had when she was little, I vote to keep it as is. What a huge collection of stamps, impressive and I love your idea board, very pretty. Thank you for sharing your space, this is to much fun, it will take me months to visit everyone, I am going down the list in order, so as you can see I have not gotten very far, I guess I linger to long at each studio.

I love your shabby dressers and your dressforms, and of course the luggage boxes.. I could go on and on! I am also a scrapbooker and papercrafter and know how hard it is to find room for everything that we HAVE to have.
