A little something......

Hey there friends how are you today....I hope you're having a wonderful week so far! On my side of the world we've enjoyed a most lovely transition into Spring....beautiful blooms and lush green trees at every glance....oh how I love spring!

....so have I shared how smitten I am with the Vintage Roses stamp set by Layers of Color....there are so many possibilities that I fear my only enemy is time....time to create all of the wonderful ideas that float about my creative mind.....but alas I'll settle for sharing one little something with you for now.....

....this little beauty is a tag inspired by the look of a message board....though this one is over-the-top in girly'ness and shabby chic love.....just how I like it:)
.....to start...layers of my favorite designer paper like Webster's and K&Co....the two are so dreamy together...
....then came more of the feminine touches I can't resist....like smidges of vintage lace and deliciously pink Melissa Frances crepe paper..and of course a few vintage buttons for good measure......
.....a bit of Webster's ribbon from my BlueMoon stash in the sweetest shade of aqua......and to top it all off..... an enchanting 3D rose created by layering the Vintage Roses....
.....so easy to create too....just stamp the roses, cut along the edges, and layer with glue dots....easy-peasy!
....for a bit more rosey-posey love....a few extra roses were transformed into a sweet pair of buttons.....
.....and the final touches....a bit of criss-crossed satin ribbon and a dash of glitter.....
.....with a little love and yummy embellies a bare K&Co chipboard has now become a shabby and elegant home for a few calling cards....or perhaps a treasured photo....even better.....the perfect alternative to a gift card holder.....
....while you're visiting don't forget to enter my give-a-way for
Where Women Create - Book of Inspiration....
...accompanied by a bookmark created by ME!
Deadline is April 30th
Click here to go straight to the post:)

Well dear friends it's time to return to a few of today's tasks....thanks so much for visiting and especially for taking the time to share your thoughts....I love, love, love to read every word:)
P.S. I've entered this creation in the following challenges:

The Shabby Tea Room ~ comforts of home

I, too, am happy to see spring. It is my favorite season, and the earth coming to life again after such an intense winter is a magical treat to my eyes!
Your tag is beautiful! I love the way you do those roses. A unique touch of Abby. Thank you for sharing, and I hope to visit you again soon! Take care, and enjoy this wonderful time of year :)

Oh Abby this is soooo gorgeous! Love all the beautiful details - those tiny roses are wonderful! I have managed to buy quite a few Webster's pages now (yippee) however I think I need some lessons from you on how to cut into them, they are all unused as I just can't bare to use them LOL!! Lovely to hear from you! hugs, Jane xxx

Hi Abby,

It's been so long since I've stopped by. I have been so busy lately that I have lost contact with some of my old friends and I hate that. Hope you and your family are well! Your tag is utterly amazing, as always. Love the colors and the message board effect with the ribbon is so cute. The Shabby Tea Room is so perfect for your style. You should be on their DT - LOL!! Congrats on coming in Top 3 this week!

Hugs,
Linda

Well I think I'm a little late on a chance to win the book (by about a year). I have another edition of that book I just discovered at the library, lots of inspiration there. Love this tag, it's combination of delicate elements make one happy by just looking at it. Great ideas you're sharing. Thanks. ~ Abby ~
