Vintage Roses....by Layers of Color

Hi friends, thanks so much for visiting today! I’m super excited to share a little something created especially for the Spring 2010 New Release at Layers of Color….the place to go for the most beautiful, most enchanting collection of stamps around! The owner and sweetest lady on earth Laura invited me to join in the festivities as a Guest Designer…..and of course I said YES! Soon there after I received the Vintage Roses stamp set….and I’m so glad I did….for in this beautiful ensemble I discovered the loveliest arched roses begging to become the handles to the next member of my fanciful Papier Couture gift bags….….

….and what a joy it was to put this ultra feminine gift bag together…..she’s embellished with a mixture of elegance and sophistication….and of course a dash of shabby’ness too…..
....to start…the handles…..the dreamy little handles….stamped and watercolored…..cut and assembled…...
.....they knew exactly what they'd become....even before I did.....
….and since they are indeed the star of this sweet creation…..the bag joined in as a soft, muted companion.....complimenting the roses ever so slightly…..
….then came the finishing touches....created with a few of my feminine favs…..like pearls to anchor the beautiful arch of roses…..
….deliciously pink Melissa Frances crepe paper just along the edges……
…..and bit more gathered inside the bag too…..
…..a Prima flower from BlueMoon with a smidge of vintage lace….and a sprinkling of pretty little beads….

….and to pull it all together…..a petite card created to resemble a lovely compact.....featuring a wreath of more lovely roses….... ....and inside a little room for a sweet message.....

Well, my dear friends I hope you enjoyed your visit here today.....I certainly am delighted to share a sneak peek with you! Be sure to mark your calendars for the big reveal of all four sets on March 15th....and if you're looking for the chance to WIN all four set just go straight here!
